I have the same case as yours,,,my wife's pregnant and she also didn't go for X-ray and waiting for any update as I received AOR on 28th april, so I think that they want full medical examination of both applicant before they do any further process. Our baby will come within next couple of weeks and hopefully after submitting X-ray, the process will speed up.
Thank you jatinpatel001 for the reply. So does this mean that the process will only start once our profile gets completed? so should we count a total of 6 months from my ETD?

I have a question. This may have been asked a lot of time. but I still want to clear out my mind.. so seniors please help!! I am the secondary applicant and currently pregnant, I did not go for the Chest -Xray and was issued an x-ray deferment, thus my medical is not completed. It's been ages (it feels) that we completed our profile and received the AOR (10th April), but every time I log in to check for any updates, there is none.

Why have they not touched my profile even? And can anybody share the process of adding the baby and completing my medical so that the process starts? Or is there something wrong with my profile that they haven't touched it? I am very tensed. Me ETD is 14 July. What is the delay all about they can at least start processing my husband's profile? I read that the process is for 6 months from the date of AOR. In my case will it be different? Should we count 6 months from the date I add my baby and complete my profile? I am totally confused.
Hi,
Firstly, once you get your AOR, then the processing time will depend mainly on your stream. I mean CEC inland applicants have fastest processing as of now. For FSW outland applicants, it takes around 45 - 55 days to get the first update in their profile, i.e. medicals passed. You can check immitracker for this. This is an average though, varying from case to case. There are chances that you shall get no change in your status for about some more days.

Secondly, I don't know exactly about your case since I haven't heard about pregnant lady cases.
But, The 6 months time starts from the date of AOR. And yet, it's just an estimate for around 80% cases that IRCC receives.
Ref http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=673&top=29

There is no guarantee that they will make decision & issue PR in 6 months only. It may be delayed if they find any discrepancy in applicant's profile or have doubts.
Once you get your AOR, all you can do is just sit back and relax. If IRCC needs any extra info from you, they will contact you directly through your MyCIC account.

I'm not an expert to this, but what I think is that you should count 6 months time from the date of AOR, not EDD/ETD.
You just will need to give extra info to IRCC once you have a baby.
However, an experienced person will give you more insights into this.

When you give birth and take an X-ray will your case start processing. For now its frozen, as I have read on the forum.

Guys,

I received my ITA on March 6 and submitted my application with all mandatory documents on 11th April, 2017. Since then I haven't received any update. I saw people who submitted their files after me receives Medical update, but in my case no update.

I received OINP Invitation as well, does it make any difference that i am not seeing any update..?

please help.

If we see immitracker for applicants there, we can see that PNP applicants have the longest processing time as of now.
CEC > FSW > PNP

Even if you were an FSW applicant, you should have to wait at least 45 - 55 days to see first update in the profile.

Hang on there. There's nothing else you can do at present.

Yes, I understand your concern.

I don't use immitracker, but I guess you can google it, and sign up for it.
