Anyone who renounced PR ? Why?

What made you renounce your PR?

Some people choose to renounce if that have not met the Residency Obligation; choosing to `quit' before they are `fired', per se. Either they are outside of Canada with an expired PR card and know that they would not be approved for a PRTD to return to Canada, or they have been reoprted and want to avoid the inevitable. They then re-apply if they qualify under a different program/stream.
