I am banking with NatWest and they are not giving me a letter as prescribed by cic.

Get the reference letter signed from your colleague. Mention this thing in LOE.

I bank with hsbc uk and they won't, but ask them for bank letter, it will have account balance, account opening Date and your name.
Supplement it with bank statements, you will be good.

I found a good soul in the bank today and he has agreed to give me the letter
For the bank statements is it fine to download online and get it stamped from the bank?
If you don’t mind me asking where in uk are you based?

Oh that's nice, I always got the reply that it is a standard format. London.

Yeah same here...every time I went they said it’s a policy and they can’t do it...but today I went with a print out stating the format and the manager said it can be done!
You got the ITA in yesterday’s draw...am I right?
