Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hello FrustratedCanadian. Sa pagkakaalm ko, walang right ang embassy na tanungin kung ilan ang laman ng account mo. Kasi ang tinatanong lang nila eh kung totoo ba na may ganitong name sa ganitong acct. Peri never aa kung magkano ang laman.

Di ba nakatanggap ka na ng visa? I don't think it would matter kung nabawasan mo na un. Basta ang impt. habang wala pa ang visa, wag na muna galawin. Kasi ang required naman na pera sa banko is CAD10,000 db? So wala na pakialam dun yung tuition fee kasi labas yun sa needed na show money kumbaga. Hehe

Pero yung akin nga, nabawasan ko ng $100 eh..haha! Pero OK naman. D naman kasi nalalayo sa required na amount.

Thats what I thought! Nope I am still waiting for our visa. I applied with dependents kasi. Kaka-forward lang ng medical results sa CEM nung May 14 daw.

Hello tipsy,in my College,B+ is from 87 to 89 & 1.8 to 1.6..kapag B is 84 to 86 & 2.1 to 1.9..kapag B- is 81 to 83 & 2.4 to 2.2.. I just don't know in other Philippine colleges & universities. Equivalent GPA in Canada, the experts here will help you.Or if you really want to know, you can have your credentials assessed by WES or ICAS at a cost nga lang

So, I need to seek WES or ICAS first? I am planning to apply for grad program and it was stated in their admission requirements is either mid B or B+. So my GPA of 86% might not be either of it? huhuhuhu

Medical Submitted to CIC May 12, 2014
Passport Request Waiting
Visa Waiting

I'm a bit worried because it took a month for St. Luke's Global to send my medical results to CIC and the school is asking for a downpayment on June 13. I'm also confused as to when the passport should be submitted to the embassy? Should I send it now or will they be sending an email requesting for it? How long does PPR usually take? Please advise.

Hello! We had our ME last April 11 @ sLEC global too, and MR were sent to CEM on May 14. I assumed you applied online, so you really have to wait for the PPR from them. Don't worry too much, I'm sure we'll receive our visa very soon.:/)
Btw, iamvenus received her LOI a week after her MR were forwarded to CEM.

helo po. nagsubmit ako april 21, taz 27, may request na ako for medical..nagpamedical ako nung may 6 at tumawag ako kanina lng s SLEC kung naforward na s embassy, file sending palang daw,. ganun po ba katagal ang pagforward?

Hi! Yeah, medyo mabagal sila ngayon... You are one of those lucky individual if SLEC will send your MR 2 weeks after your ME. it took them almost a month to forward ours...

Nope, we applied through Vfs- paper based.. Actually, I think the processing time is a little longer compared to online application. May dependent kase ako kaya hinde ako nag online

Hello! =) I didn't include that part in my study plan. Yung reason why I'm studying in Canada lang tapos anong gagawin ko after. Hehehe.. I also talked a bit about my background. =)
