Any statistics to show how many application forms CIO receive per day, week, month. It would be interesting to study the trend with respect to the rule changes.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/statistics/data-release/2010-Q1/index.asp figure on dividing the no. of applications by 2.1 people to get the no. of applications.

That more like 29,399 applications a month and nearly 1000 applications a day. I believe this number will be quite low after June 26 as applicants are required to submit full documentation.

hi all, do we have to send all "original" or photocopy of all docs (inlucing visa office docs--transcripts, proof of fund, job reference) to CIC?

As of June 26,2010 all documents including Visa Office Specific documents are to be submitted.

Hi Sadruddin:
Follow the explicit directions in your CIO and VO Specific Checklist. That will tell you what is to be ORIGINAL/SEALED ENVELOPE and what is to be photocopied/notarized. Good Luck!
