Am I eligible to apply for Bridge Open Work permit?

Hi,
I urgently need to know if I am eligible to apply for Bridge Open Work permit.
I have applied for PR under CEC in January 2017, and my background status is in progress for the second time. I called CIC and on phone I was told that they are just waiting for my security check result, so it seems eligibility is already passed (for people from my nationality CIC usually does in depth security check).

Right now I am on an IEC (International Experience Canada) open work permit, working fulltime for an employer in Canada. This current work permit will expire in January 2018.

Am I eligible for bridge work permit in October as there will be less than 4 months left from my current work permit? Does the type of my current work permit (IEC working holiday which s open work permit) matter to determine if I will be qualified for bridge work permit?

This is urgent, because if the answer is know I will need to act on some other complicated solution.

I would appreciate your help if you are aware of this.
