I got an email from CHC delhi to scan the marsheets but got an email from cic stating that there is message in my CIC account which was the instruction for the medical to be done. How were able to do the advance medical without IME number?

I had to schedule an appointment with the DMP and I was given some forms there. My initial plan was to apply under SPP, but the medical tests are same for every type of Visa. After the test they gave me a reciept and a copy of the Medical Form to be submitted to VFS/CHC. Medical itest is valid for a year, so, when filling the form I declared that I've already had a med test. And when they asked to upload a proof, I uploaded the receipt and the form.
Hope I did right!

It would be advisable to apply paper application.
