Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and I need your help in understanding something. My husband and I just won our appeal and received a letter from CIC ottawa. When they are asking for original updated forms: IMM 0008, IMM 5669, IMM 5406. Does that mean we take the copy of the form what we originally submitted and make changes, sign and date. Or do they mean we must copy our forms we originally submitted onto a new form add changes sign and date. Also what if there aren't any changes to update?

20 months....we had some bumps in the road and there were strikes/slow downs at many Embassies. A lot depends where they will send your file. Some go to Ottawa and some go back to original embassy

Try not to worry too much. You will get the letter in a few weeks. It will then take time for file to be sent (about 3 months) Then it will wait to be processed.

Honestly, I was convinced my partner would never come to me but indeed we are together in Toronto. !!!!!

It is going to be 2 months tomorrow since I won my appeal but I have not heard anything from them except decision letter, any idea how long more?

I would give it another 2 months. If you don't hear from them, get in touch with your M P

I haven't heard anything since a few months after we appealed. I called my lawyer a few times and am told 'don't call us, we'll call you.'

I can only speak for myself and what I saw. I received a letter stating I need to attend 'Assignment court" with my Consultant. It was quick and they basically just set the date of the Hearing. The date of Assignment court was April 2012 and my Hearing was August 2012. Not sure if it works this way with all appeals. Best wishes

My lawyer said wait one n half month more .its too early to contact embassy ... but im very much worried i dont kniw what the hell they r doing now .plz plz request give me sufficient suggestion.
