I sent a letter requesting an ADR because The Visa Officer did a lot of things that was wrong. Out of 22 wedding Pics we sent she stated that we gave her three. Over thirty emails and ecards and she said we gave her a few emails. Confidential information that my husband did not disclose as to why our marriage ended, I sent supporting Court Documents. She stated that my husband sais my son was living with me and on the application we said that he was not living with me. I rrovided proof as to why my son moved back home temporarily within the year. I also provided a death certificate to show that my ex husband died of Cancer three years ago, so my husband was correct when he said that he passed away. My husband's interview in Port of Spain was not a good one at all. I was there with him and she expected him to know from the time I was born until that day. In our culture we look forward to the present and not the past. Past relationships are not important to us. I hope they will see that she intentionally refused my husband. I am patiently waiting and hoping for the best.

It all depends on the visa office you are dealing with but the most important thing now is to focus more on winning the appeal and the rest will be more relaxing. Good luck and all the best.

thank u so much i hope we will win this we been waiting for 14 months allready i am dealling with visa office in Vienna i had interview in oct 22 and in nov 5 i found out that i am denied reason is that relationship is not genuine but he made a mistake in his letter of refusal saying that my wife been in Serbia 2 brief times when we had evidence that was showed to him that she was 3 times in here and in his notes stands that i said about 3 times she been in here we had alot of evidence but his main reason is age diff.

hi to all me and my wife applied for my PR in april 2012 i got interview on oct 22 i was denied got letter telling me that i am denied on 1 nov reason was cause she is older than me and that i didnt have any evidence of comunication dispite all facebook shat we had for past 1 and half so now my wife and me are waiting for her interview in toronto for ADR which is in july 10 i was wondering how long i can be with her in canada if i win appeal is it possible to be with her in less than 6 months thank u to all i wish everybody the best

difficult to say...I think 6 months is overly optomistic. I won my appeal August 2012 and still waiting but a lot depends on where it will be processed.....timelines vary a great deal (you are very lucky you have ADR) waiting times for Toronto are over 2 years for full hearing.

I had to wait 28 months to get a Hearing date. Yes, we were successful but I wont rest until my partner comes through the doors at Toronto airport.
