We won appeal on March 2015 and and pcc , medical and other documents were submitted on April it's been seventh month no news from NDVO.

Why would a spousal application be refused?
I am getting terrified now.
I am going to apply to sponsor my husband and i see this huge thread for appeals/
Should i read through this thread to find out why applications are refused?

We just got married in a very quiet ceremony without guests (for both of us the marriage is not first and we didn't want to go wild about it). We live in different countries but we see each other about every three weeks for 2-3 days and once in a few months for about 2-3 weeks.
We have copies of chats, airline tickets, and some pictures.
We are very close in age and not really young (about 50-ish).

So why on earth spousal PR could be refused?

When you apply for a sponsorship it is all about person who being sponsor and want to immigrate to Canada so even though you may have all the evidence in the world to prove you are wife and husband they may find a gap or reason to reject the application. I myself had a small ceremony with just few witness and even though I visited my wife once in a year for 10-15 days in different countries and even though I showed all the financial support for 4 years marriage with hotel receipts and flight boarding cards and lots of photos they
did not believe that the marriage is genuine for example one of their concern was that why I and my wife were in jeans when the ceremony took place which I already told them in my application that we normally have a big wedding as part of our tradition when bride is ready to move to her husband and that is when we have our wedding dress on so as you can see everything depends on the officer who reads through your case, which sucks. All I can say is that the immigration system is wrong where a single officers can determine that a 4 years marriage is not genuine based on how or what we wear in a ceremony. why? because maybe and maybe you are poor and you don't even have enough money to have a big fancy wedding( I wonder when you get married in Canada and you go to city hull, you have your wedding dress on? LOL) so what happens then is that they ask your partner to attend for an interview and question her or him in a 30-40 minutes time to see if she or he loves you and is intimate with you? OY OY. Pictures are not enough and nothing counts then since officer already made her mind and has the pen and paper ready to refuse your case rite there. She doesn't understand that love has no mass and doesn't fit in a balance and I wish it did because then you could say my wife loves me 100 kilo grams or 1 ton then you could be fine lol. well this was at least the way it was in my case and after 4 years of marriage we

This is right the system.its not .fair.how many people they are in pain and sufer..some people they get married many years..just emgration office.decide.in one page.I no blive.the pic or crazy .things.and after refuse go to apeal stay more then one year..and they can lose apeal too..realy .is big problems just I hope every one have good chance with crazy emgration system

Today i got a letter from IAD that i am selected for ADR. This is from the Vancouver office.

Timeline

June 9,2015 filed appealed
Sept 5,2015 received blue book
Oct 19,2015 Letter from IAD that i was selected for ADR

No same old. No update on file. I hope soon. Its in sane, for God sake we won the appeal. Now why they taking forever
hopefully now liberal will make changes for immigration.

On the p.rpt says valid for 6 months.. but medical n police report for 1 year. THats what i know

I was wondering, one of my friend, she won her appeal and she received an email from Ottawa last week & Only they requested to send the medical within 30 days, no police report or no updated forms? anyone has any experience about this?? please & thank you
