I applied on Nov 2011 and additional doc req was on oct 2012, i submitted the same on dec 5th 2012 now waiting for nomination.

I am not sure if they will accept any other documents apart from birth certificate.

yes applied under skilled category.

To apply for birth certificate it is not necessariy that u have to be there, Your parents (if they are there in india) can do that for you.

skMarch31: I am from India and have applied under Skilled Worker Category. I have not provided any birth certificate as I do not have one instead I have provided all the other documents for example my 10th Certificate, Passport copy which lists down by Date of Birth. If they ask for Birth certificate I do not know how to get it.

hello i got a mail from sinp asking for missing documents

they have asked for IETLS, travell record, degree transcripts, back statement to show funds and birth certificate.

can anybody tell me what can i send as birth certificate. In india 10th grade certificate is treated as birth certificate. but i guess they dont acknoledge that. I dont have any formal birth certificate.. Can anybody help me with this....

Is there anybody also from the same category applied (SINP family Stream) who had been nominated already?
If so, please do share your timeline. I applied under Family Stream on Sept. 2011 and still waiting for the nomination until now (GOD willing we will be hearing good news from SINP Immigration Office)

As per the current trend they will sart looking at your file in August this year. I applied in march 2011 and I received the mail for additional docs yesterday.

What about those who applied in jan 2012. Beside there are maximum 4,000 nominations that can done in a year so i think it may take longer.

Hi!!!

Do you also applied under SINP Family Stream? You mentioned in your last post that they already aske you additional documents? That's a good sign on your application because they are already in the process of reviewing your file. We applied under family stream last Sept. 2011.
Hopefully to hear good news from the SK immigration soon.

whats going on guys..?? no good news for people who applied in sinp 2011.. we applied in for sasketchewn in july 2011 ..under pnp with arranged job employment.. additional documnets requested in nov 2011(bank statements for funds and experience letter for my husband),,, then again nov 2012 addiional documents requested previous travel history.. and we are waiting till now... no nomination.. can some one pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tell how much time it takes...

Yes, You can use the Fixed Deposit Fund as the proof of your fund.

have you already submitted the docs.. Now what i am struck is with my birth certificate.. I am in usa and I belong to india.. I dont know how to obtain my birth ceryficate,, People who have already got the nomination.. can anybody tell me if any other document would suffice here???
