what i understood is that boimetrix's friend just got his nomination now and currently living or employed in saskatoon?--am i right? for me the good news just eased our waiting time because we applied and had our file number last february 2011 and still no update

u know what somebody in fb forum got nominated already, meds done and now she's waiting for ppr. she's from february 2011 applicant. after 10 months she got nominated. SINP-FS also. and u know what she only have a friend and no family living in there. she's very lucky right? but the question is, what really the basis to get nominated?

Nope he applied as a skilled worker.

REALLY!!! can you share that link...is that sinp? isn't it sinp recognizes only those with relatives and the farthest relationship would be cousins..we don't lose hope..our nomination is coming..we just have to pray and believe..

Hi Smile_2good,

After submitting new employment letter I got another email from SINP:

saying:

"Thank you for the requested document. Please note, your new
employer, must register online and receive pre-approval for your
job before your application can proceed. Your employer may
register at: at https://www.apps.gov.sk.ca/apex/f?p=310:1 Your
employer may find more information by visiting
http://www.saskimmigrationcanada.ca/employers.
Once the position is approved, please obtain a copy of the SINP
Confirmation of Job Approval from your employer and forward a
copy, quoting your file number, to the SINP office."

I send email to my employer and ask him for register online on SINP site, and he has submitted online form now:

I think my procedure has been entered in the final stage, what you say..??

I need your input please..i want to ask all those SINP applicants who have job offer that how did they get it??
can u please guide me how did u do that? u contacted any recruiter? or applied online on ssaskatchewan's jobs site??
I also intend to apply as an immigrant to Saskatchewan and for that i need to have a valid job offer..
your help in this regard would be a great benefit for me ..
please reply asap

Same here, now past 15 months and no updates from SINP. Again the in-process status remains for almost 13 months.

Any idea from the team, what will be normal duration to get our nomonation under family class for SINP?

sinp skilled worker- got file no on 25 aug 2011 then now 10 months compeletely over, but no review, no additional paper request, I am confused, will the results be positive or not? I came to know that there are rare chances to not be approved. only no changes in the status is confusing me.

My friend got his nomination today...he got his file number on oct 4..... Plus he lives in saskatoon already.

Do you know how long before his nomination his employer was contacted?
And if it was by phone or a visit?

I know everyone says its supposed to be 40 days from contact to nomination but I am wondering if that is true.

Honesty, there is no time frame for his employer was contacted in December 2011. Then he got the position approved. It's was by a sinp employer relations officer by phone. His took exactly 8months to get nominated. For those of u wondering what the status would be online upon nomination, it changes from in process to applicant nominated. Then the nomination number would appear. I guess he is the first online applicant I know of to get nominated. I thank God for him. He prayed a lot and God hear him.

Did anyone ever hear from someone that a file got lost?
I am already in Regina working for over a year (on a different visa which runs out at the end of Sept) and haven't heard anything since I got my file number on Nov 2nd.
All they ever reply to everyone is that the application is in process and that they can't give any more information. For that they don't have to look into the file so I am wondering if my file got lost as they didn't even contact my employer yet.
My employer got the same useless reply after her request for a status update.

I do have received a standard response thru email that " YOur application is in process and no addl documenst are required at this time"

Any one know, whether the exisitng aplications will be looked immediately as the new apps are temporarly stopped for soem time from July 01, 2012?
