should we make a specific case enquiry?

Can someone please clarify sth...do I need to apply separately for temporary resident visa? I have applied online and there was already a form for trv. Do i still need a separate application?

will i need a police certificate to apply for my visa..i am confused as some people are saying that will need it and some people are saying that
its not needed anymore after the new passport system..

and please send me a link or list of necessary documents thats requires for applying visa.

According to CIC you definitely will need it. If you apply online the certificate will be asked by them later on the process. But if you apply by paper you have to submit it along the application. PCC costs only 500Tk and There is a one stop service for this and you will get it in one week. Some might get visa without it as it totally depends on the visa officer.You should give it to be on the safe side.

ok..i live in dhaka now but my home town is not dhaka . i lived in my home city for 18 years and i am there right now
so from which city i will have to collect the police certificate?

is there a list or link for all the necessary documents(i actually dont know exactly what documents i will be needed) that i can use as a check list?..

I only know the procedure of Dhaka and you must have an address if you want PCC from Dhaka. Passport copy, one application, one chalan of 500 tk from Sonali Bank.

You can find the list in singapore.gc.ca If you go to vfs for list they will just give you this address. If you have lived in Dhaka for average one year then get a PCC from Dhaka if you have a permanent address here.

I think applying online was a big mistake...there r people who applied long after me n got reply...n here i am...waiting

It isn't the fault of online. some applications take time for further processing as a result take more time than normal and sometimes also they forget to reply mail or miss to reply as a result it takes more time. I have seen some who were waiting and when CIC replied to their inquiry mail they told that they were waiting for the applicant to complete the medical where the case is they didn't send the medical request in the first place.
