Usually the PCC verification is part of criminality. See
https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

You should consider requesting CBSA notes, as CBSA notes do not retract security processing details.

@legalfalcon please help me!

I am a march 4 CEC Outland applicant.
In April I called CIC and they told me i passed eligiblity.
I called last week and agent told me this:

'' officer has not updated all their notes,i can see few things came from your BG check but so far no conclusion has been made. You'll just have to wait. I can see your eligibility is set to pass. BG in most cases comes back fairly quickly and in some cases it can take a bit of time ''.

I am extremely worried if it means there are any issues with my application? I really want to return to canada already :(
I had applied for pgwp extension which got refused then applied for restoration of status which got refused and i had to go back so now i m loosing sleep at night just thinking of whats happening with my application

I just dont want to end up as one of those applicants whose file gets selected for SS and suffer for 1 or 2 years waiting for a decision.

Should I order GCMS notes at this point?
If you have not requested GCMS, you should. GCMS notes help you by providing your the details notes entered by the IRCC officer reviewing your file.

Just wondering at this point, where officer informed me I have passed eligibility, What are the risks of getting a rejection and for what could be the possible reasons ?
The eligibility happens is 2 stages. First an analyst will review and make a recommendation and then the officer will review it and make a final determination. Unless the officer makes a final determination, the eligibility is not passed.

What has CIC done with the million dollar funding that was approved for them to speed up their applications process? I have not seen any improvements.
pretty harsh I'll say. We have zero idea what's happening behind the scenes, and we are experienced enough to know that throwing money at a problem isn't necessarily the best solution.

Having said that, six months for a normal, trouble-free application (with average processing times of 100-120 days) isn't bad at all.

Is 100 to 120 really the average no. Of days in which an appication gets processed ?

Usually I come across c2
Types of cases that are processed super fast within 60’days or super late more than a year.

That’s why I’m a little worried that since my application hit 90th day today, I might be under security screening :S
Because if it were a fast appication already it would have been approved by now. That’s just my thinking. I don’t know
Applied for GCMS notes?

SS screening would also involve officers taking a look at your social media profile as well, hope that is in order and you are not quoting your frustrations over there ?
