Does anyone here know if it is possible apply under the Accelerate Tech Pathway working remotely from Alberta?
I live in Alberta, the employer is from Ontario but opening up a registered office in Alberta at a WeWork registered space but the job it is 100% remote, everyone works from home. That is also how it is operated in Ontario as well.
The office in Ontario exists for 3+ years and the Alberta one will be opening up in next month or so.
My work permit says remote and can work from anywhere in Canada, but I can get a letter from HR stating that my job is in Alberta.
1. Will this wework registered address be sufficient for tech pathway eligibility ( my company is a software tech company). Do I need a dedicated room/office space?
2. Can I count my last 1 year of remote work towards the minimum work exp eligibility?
Has anyone here applied or got the PR in this situation?
