This is weird. I am visiting Atlantic region and have been offered a job by a designated employer. A lawyer that I consulted says that I can apply for the program for onshore without the need for leaving Canada. However an email to the immigration got me the response that I will have to leave the country if I am considered eligible. Please note that they do not have my details yet.
So which one is correct? If there is a thread already on this subject, please point me to the right direction.
