LOL ok people don't be too excited cause if by chance we all don't get ppr today it will hurt no then anything....it's good to be positive but over confidence is not good..all the best to all you people..

I have very low expectation from them...I think it will be good if we get it by Friday this week.

Can somebody tell me what kind of questions they ask when you land?

The thing is, I am already in Canada and I applied through AINP (Employer-Driven stream, or whatever the category is called), but my situation with my boss is not going well, I'm tired of being treated like crap. I wanted to quit but I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a job by the time I have to do the landing (my status has been IP since April 3, 2014, I feel like I'm getting DM soon, so the date is close). I'm scared that immigration might think it's a problem, even though I know I will be fine financially.

Can anybody tell me if they are going to ask me questions about my job, etc?

I've been to do landing of my 4 friends & all 4 times they just asked what is your current mailing address & did you convict any crime inside or outside of Canada(initial & sign the COPR),then Immigration officer went to his computer. After 10 mins he handed the COPR back to us & said congratulations. that's all very easy.

P.S. it was at North Portal Border in Sask.

Can we make appointment to do landing at our local cic in edmonton while we wait for ppr email..is it a good idea? I believe at your local office it takes 4-8 weeks to appointment. can someone please help me.

Yes that's not a bad idea as long as you can extend the date in case..

They received his passport on May 22 & his return package got activated on June 12. so approx. anytime between 2-3 weeks.

Thats right, i think they are busy processing applications, that's why its taking too long.

Yes that's not a bad idea as long as you can extend the date in case..
