I received my Medical request on oct 27th, my draft was encashed on Aug 30th

My draft was cash 08-11-10 still haven't Heard anything yet from them.I m glad they hv started sending out mail for med.yours is the prove we will be getting ours soon.

I also applied on 10 june but I am not able to access ecas how u done it plz....
and now there is update on cic site it says 11 months.

Thanks you for your posting, how did you check for your status? have you received your AOR ?I m thinking that is the only way to access one status online o is there any other way?

got my case number from my old case. my old case is withdrawn recently. I just check and shows both cases.

You should be able to get a copy of the money order from the bank after it has been cleared. Normally on the back of the money order CIC folks would put the case/file number before depositing it.

Thx canadiens for the info I will go check it out with my bank and find out if buffalo have started processing my application.It's good we re getting really good news I have been longing for this .

How do i select the identification type/identification # i hv check in with my bank where i paid my bank draft, they don't have the copy of the cheque but the promise they will have it in two working days.from their printing sheet i couldn't figure where it says identification type or number without that i can't be able to check my status online. my question to you is where do i find 1: the id type 2: the id #? do those info come together inside the receipt of the copy of my bank draft after Buffalo cash it?

Yesterday I send enquiry since my application was 22 weeks already, I got the response today!
here's the response:

"Permanent resident applications are created in out database and acknowledgement of receipt are sent to the applicant within 30 weeks of receipt. Any application submitted without the required documents and information will be returned to the applicant."

Im so upset!

Every application are different and has different processing time... my friend has the same case with me but he send application firsr week of May and he got AOR/Medical request by 3rd week of August! And some other June applicants has received their AOR/Medical request. Most likely they are delaying the application because they are cutting down the quota for the immigrant, maybe they got the quota already. And based on the news I think last week they are planning to cut down the numbers of immigrant.

I have another case, my work permit has already expired last october. I sent extension to vegreville one month before the expiration as per their advice, but unfortunately when I checked the processing time, 76 days meaning 2 1/2 months. Now here's the news! yesterday I checked they're processing time since next week will be the 76 days of my application and I didn't received anything from them. Surprisingly, since November 3, 2010 they changed the processing time to 82 days, another one week. I don't know what's going on here...
