Hello,

CIC can extend your medicals.

We did our medicals 6th Apr 2014.
Expiry date of COPR can't be longer than medicals expiry.
We got our COPR with expiry date Feb 2016, which means they had to extend our medicals.
We didn't get any information about extending medicals, and we didn't have to send any special request for that.

As I've read on different threads on this forum CIC sometimes sends new request for medicals, sometimes extend medicals expiration without letting you know.

So don't worry everything will be good.

You can always call and ask CIC about expiration date of your medicals

good luck!!!!

I want to share the good news with anyone who is still waiting, especially those who missed their medical request.

I sent my AINP application back in 2013 Oct 28 and received a medical request on 11/29/13,
somehow I mishandled the email and did not see the medical request form because there were two emails and I only saw one.
Then, medical overdue reminder received on 7/21/14.
Medical was received on August 28.
Received a "Ready For Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) Issuance" on 4/22/15.

Hey Everyone!

I've just got the same Email from Cic. I've paid my RPRF fee and sent them a copy of the receipt through an E mail. I checked Schedule A on my copy and everything has been filled in. Is this E mail only for those who are missing information or everyone in general?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
