Agencies i can go to once i'm in Canada

A good friend told me that the best way to find work in Canada in my field is to go in person in a work agency and that they will find me a job almost surely since they get a

pecentage of the first couple of salaries. That's how my friend got his last 2 jobs. If this is viable, what agencies do you suggest i should go to ?

indeed.ca, monster.ca to name just 2 of many others that people might suggest. Easy enough to google employment agents even by location as some may not have country wide presence but as you plan to be face to face anyway.

If you Google "cic immigrant services", one of the search results will take you to the Government of Canada's website listing the different type of immigrant services available throughout Canada. (Sorry the forum doesn't allow me to post link yet)
