Hi. My mother applied for family sponsorship. All our medical is already done in Manila. I have few questions and would be appreciated if someone will reply :)

1) IF ever our visa is already granted, what is our status after landing in Canada?
2) IF we are granted as PR, can we still go back to our home land? If yes, how many months/years after the PR grant can we travel back to our home country? Or do we have to work first before we go back in Manila?

Thanks in advance! :)

PS still praying that the application will be approved so that my mom's sacrifices and hardwork will pay off

1) Permanent residents
2) Yes - you can travel outside of Canada. You can do this immediately after getting PR. To keep your PR status you must live in Canada for 2 out of every 5 rolling years.
