You can have a “successful test and interview but have to wait for months to get DM because security and background checks are still ongoing. However, it’s unlikely they will ask for more documents after DM. But, I’ve heard of 1 or 2 cases where people revert back to an In-process status.... not sure why or if they were required to send more documents.
Another issue to consider is even if someone reaches DM stage, but they are charged by the police or court, they will certainly be required to provide more documents in regards to their case even if the charges were dropped. They wouldn’t be able to take the oath with charges pending. Hence the prohibitions document that we receive have to sign before taking the oath. There’s certainly more legal details to this than what I’m saying here.
