Administrative Refusal US border flagpoling

Can someone tell me if they did this recently at the niagara Buffalo border? I don't have a US visa so I'm worried about trying to cross the border?? Will it affect me in my future applications?? I really need help as I am in a pickle as my work permit expires in 2 weeks.. Please help!!!

I just did this on Monday. You go to US Border Security officer and tell you are here to flagpole. He will pull a paper form, ask you for your passport, fill the form and will give it back to you, saying go back through the same way you come.

Thats it !!... He will not keep any record of your entry, So no issue in future for you.

Bring your Driver Licence with you and for dependents.
Bring Photos in case, but they did not ask.
Work Permit in case, but again they did not ask.

So mainly you need Copr, passport, Driver Licence & 2 quarters (25 cent coin) for each person to unlock the canadian border lock, but there are change machines as well. but bring cash with you, safe side.

You just need to bring( passport,copr) or any work permit ususally they don't ask.

I'm going with my friend who is a canadian citizen. There isn't an issue for is to turn around in the car right?? We just go to the U.S. border and I tell them that I'm there for the flag polin? After that they fill out the form give it to me and I come back in the car with my friend? And then at the canadian border I give them my paper work and that's it?

Don't take anyone with you for flag pole, go alone!
Canadian citizens cannot do flag pole, so US border will ask your friend to withdraw his application, which is an actual refusal of entry.
This happened to someone I know, and after that every time he travels, they ask him about the reason of withdrawal at border.

btw, you may read my experience. Flag pole is not that easy process for all nationalities...
