I applied to a tourism US visa, and my file is currently undergoing administrative processing under 221g. That means it’s a temporary refusal until they finish their background check which more often than not ends up in reversal of refusal and granting of visa. Does this prompt a CSE to CIC? I’m asking because I had a US visa cancellation a few years back due to a mix up in the type of visa requested (long story, but in short I got a business visa by mistake instead of tourism) i had already declared that cancellation and cic asked me for ADR about it and I provided them with the info.
But should I send an explanation about my 221g status now?
