Do you think the possibility to be approved is higher if cic asked additional documents?
and also after we submit additional docs that they asked, how long it would take them to process the visa?

It is a positive sign. At least you are getting a chance to submit the missing documents. If they are asking for something it is sure they are dealing your case properly and not rushing towards decision. You know what I mean? Submit your docs and hope for the best.
Nobody can tell you about the time they will take in processing after receiving your docs.
