I am facing a terrible situation. I applied for my PR back in October 2023. Received portal 1 email on 12 March, 2024 and replied back on 14th March. I gave all the info they asked for (name,uci etc) and also mentined i will be travelling backhome on 6th April 2024 to get married and come back on 21st May.
Since then there is no update. I have not received portal 2 email. Everyone usually gets it in a week. It's been more than two weeks and I am very stressed.
My question -
If I don't receive portal 2 email before I leave Canada on 6th April 2024, can I add my spouse after I got married?
Is is possible to add my spouse even after portal 1 email?
If so, how to add her and what are the procedure?
Someone pls pls help me out. All my excitement for my marriage is gone and I am very stressed. I can't explain my situation. Please help me out with your knowledge and experience fam.
