Hello Guys, Please provide some suggestions and ideas if you have same situation as mine. I really worried about my case and can not sleep everyday.

I submitted my CEC application on Oct 1 2013 and CEC received it on Oct 2 2013. I got FN on Nov 19 2014.

I got married with my husband on Oct 22 2013 in Canada and my husband is in Canada as well, he is international student at that time. I added my husband as a spouse into my case around Feb 2014. (I already submitted our daily pictures, bank joint account record, marriage pictures, mail address showing we live in same place, etc ) I received the request for additional documents on Apr 9 2014 regards our relationship , please see below email from CIC . I have mailed additional docs including pictures, bank joint account record, tax return, cellphone message record. Declaration letter from our friends to CIC on Apr 30 2014, but I haven't heared anything yet. Is anybody has the same situation with me and know how long this process will take ? I am afraid that CIC will reject my case if they don't believe our relationship and I am afraid this process will take a couple months. Please give me some thoughts about this issue. So worried :(

You sent lots of thing to them, but did you send your marriage certificate? I think they must have something like this if you get married in Canada? That's got to be the most important thing, right?

Yes, I sent our marriage certificate and additional supporting docs when the first time I added my husband as a spouse on Feb 2014 but CIC still requested more docs to approve our relationship.

I am aware that there are a lot of people are being requested by CIC for additional docs if they added their spouse after they submit their case. It seem like CIC become more suspect on this kind of situation right now. :(

Yeah they are trying to prevent fraud so they're asking for lots of things. But it looks like you gave them everything you can so you'll be fine. Don't worry 8)

Thanks for your supporting words :) Our relationship is real , I am afraid that this process will take a long time as CIC has to take time to check our relationship, like a background check . Really don't know how long it will take until they request us to do the Medical :(

[/quote] We haven't received the request from CIC to do the medical check yet. :( That link you gave to me I saw it before and most of them received the email have already completed the medical check.

ZZ so you're asking how long until you get MR? You applied in Oct 2013, and I think Oct applicants are just getting MR right now and looks like most Nov people haven't got MR yet, so I don't think your timeline is late by any means.

And since your situation is more complicated than others you are probably going to get MR later than your Oct peers...
