Activity Status update: Background verification

Hello,

I am October applicant through PNP. In my case everything went well and after PAL I received ADR to submit my detailed resume. Next day I have submitted detailed resume for me and souse as stated in ADR and next day I got an update in my tracker with the below message. This status change happened on March 8th and after that no change in my application. Does this means that my application has gone for comprehensive security check. I called to IRCC and they confirmed my Biometric, Medical, Eligibility, Info Sharing, Criminality is passed and security is in progress.

AOR - 23rd Jan 2024,
Inland applicant
On Closed work permit, I was a international hire under skilled worker in demand occupation.
Province - Manitoba

Any insights on such situation please.

I got below message right next day I submitted ADR. This message I got in Activity status panel.

Background verification
Background verification status has been updated to In progress

Final decision

• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Just give some time to IRCC to process your application. Inside applications usually take 4 months on average for application approval (if everything in your application is in order and well submitted).

My application is submitted on 12th Oct. Other application are getting eCoPR and my application is stuck in security check. So I thought of asking the details. I have ordered GCMS notes but no such updates on that.
