"Accompanying" or "Not accompanying" spouse??

So I'm stuck in the middle of deciding whether or not to choose my spouse as "accompanying" in my EE profile.

My wife is pregnant and will not be accompanying me due to obvious medical reasons (during pregnancy AND 3~4 months after pregnancy (recovery period)).
Plus, I want the newborn to be atleast 6~8 months old when I take it to Canada. And me going ahead and getting settled will definitely help my family's arrival.

Should I choose my spouse as "accompanying" or "not accompanying"?
What do you people suggest?

If you are like me who has no one close in Canada - definitely going ahead solo, settling down and then filing a spouse/family class visa should be the path you take.
