Thanks a million. Appreciate the prompt reply. I am planning to move to BC, yet to decide on the city though. I would have to resign from the present job, so thinking of moving mid - Aug. Need to enter before 13th of Sep.
no problem you are most welcome.... and good luck with your move, keep us posted.

And no movement guys, generally PPR slowed down for all and for ADVO it is nearly 0 it seems ... my BG check went in progress since March 17th, nothing yet... my AOR is Nov 15th.... the wait is extremely frustrating....

Regards,

indeed ADVO seems like does not exist ..

but i think ADVO will give PPR at 5 or 6th month... i have not seen any case of ppr from ADVO in 3rd or 4th month... this is frustrating. No Doubt.

well we have completed 5 months already its 5 months and 6 days already for me. and still waiting.

and everyday it seems like today is going to be my day but dang...again nothing ....

what is more frustrating is my BG is in progress since march 17th .... usually ppl get PPR with their BG in progress in 2 days to 2 weeks... except for CEC stream whose BG goes in progress since the beggining....oh well just have to wait......

There are cases who got in 3 to 4 months from ADVO...or so they said...who knows which VO processed their info...for me it was mostly by ottawa CPC and was transferred to ADVO later on it seems...

There is even one who is from late Dec AOR who got ppr from.ADVO in Feb.... just barely 3 months.... IRCC is just very random.... i will order my second notes next week...

I thought id wait for BG check to complete 1 month before ordering.... though i doubt GCMS notes will have any info about it... since it is done by other parties(mainly security related ones like the Canadian Intelligence and such)... i just dont understand why it would take so long for me when im a single applicant who has never been in a police station before even lol.... and only been to 4 countries 2 of which for a short period only.... one of them is UK for a single week and they had granted me a 6 months business visit visa without any issues....

well looking at that yours should have been done a lot quicker.

my case was i applied as single applicant and then got married and added my wife to the application.

and i have a long travel history lived in uk and saudi gave PCCs but travelled to a lot of european countires and HK and China so may be that is taking time but i dont think that should be an issue a friend of mine had a travel history bigger than mine and got PPR in 5 months , well he was inland CEC tho but still

we can not do any thing other then to wait for ADVO to wake up and start processing some apps..

Even for PNP apps, it does not matter for ADVO :)

If I recall my dates correctly I had to wait 8 weeks for PPR after BG in progress. Bunch of us who got BG in progress and ordered GCMS notes found out that it is the date for Ready for Visa. The background is cleared before "bg goes in progress" status change for out land candidates. If you have "bg in progress" you are all set they are just waiting to issue PPR.

We had many theories on why it takes a long time to get PPR after this with the only logical conclusion that there are embassy related quotas and hence they have to wait to issue PPRs. Do remember ADVO not only process FSW express entry but also has significant family class applications also.

Be patient you are nearly there!!!

Goodluck all.

I see.....well hopefully we get something soon... however, if it is related to quotas why do they not use a first come first serve style? people with earlier AOR should get a PPR before others if that is the case... and if a fair policy was followed..... perhaps it is randomness or maybe the mood of the officer who knows lol

we can judge the speed of ADVO by the fact that, they are talking in some case close to one month to stamp the visa. in ksa its one week ..

i am 16 Dec PNP, and i am entering in 5th month, my BG is still 'Not Needed This Time' i hope they are working on my file. i expect BG in to progress in next two weeks may be ::)

my AOR is 15 Nov PNP and when i got my first notes which were generated on 1st february, my application was last touched on Dec 4th when my NOC eligibility was passed and generally that meant all of my eligibility was .... anyhow on that day it was transferred to ADVO it seems ....and till feb 1st it was not touched a single time ..... while as szherick said .....they have a Dec 31st AOR and got PPR from March 3rd .... why would certain applications be processed so quickly while others remain idle and untouched? ... only explanation is your luck as to which officer handles your file lol ... it is the same as to applicants getting a strict office who is quick to reject over tiny details and others getting one who gives time and chances for explanation....

SO ADVO is Strict or bit lenient visa office?
