When I get my refugee travel documents, do I need a visa to go to South Africa ?.and also my passport was seized by the USA , but since I’m in Canada do I also need to get new passport from my embassy or I should use my RTD to travel only ??

Check South Africa's entry requirements.

Do NOT get a new passport. Travelling on your passport means you are availing yourself of the protection of your country and therefore are not a genuine claimant.

If you are from SA don't go to SA.

Here's the guidelines to apply for SA visitor's visa from Canada. If you are South African citizen please don't visit it all.

i applied jan 4th but no update yet. I sent them a webform so lets see
