about moving city from Halifax to Vancouver

Hi,

I have some concerns about filling out the application form.
I want to submit my application before moving, what address should I write down about Home address?
Can I write my new home & mailing address in Vancouver?

Why won't you wait until you move to apply and have no issue then?

They always ask for present residence address (so your current address). Mailing address could be anywhere, so if you want, you could put your new address there.

But you will need to notify CIC that you have moved anyway.

My advise is to wait until you move and then send your application forms filled with your new address.

I would say be careful and send the biggest application you can with as much documents proving your residence if you change provinces.

Mine is stuck since 4months with an RQ triple checking I was really there : /
