Abnormal Delay Student Permit in Manila

Timeline:

Nov. 11, 2011 - submitted application
Nov 26, 2011 - interview
Jan. 12, 2012 - medical exam

up until now they did not sent my permit yet. last june 6,2012 they emailed me that it is undergoing finalization, that is after months of sending them emails.....

i am almost waiting for 10 months!! Do any of you experienced the same thing in CEM?

yess..truth is I am applying under a Temporary Visa for a Skill Level A and based on their website it would take only 12 weeks to finalized but I am now on 20 weeks and still have no visa..still waiting

will they take such long time like you gize or I ll be treated as a different case ?

yours is diffinitely a different case..what I'm trying to say is that delays of processing time for Manila canadian embassy office happens for almost all types of application..this maybe due to volume of applicants

do you have any idea of visa sucess ratio in Manila ?
I mean ppl of Philipines are crazy for Canada or its just normal to go to Canada ? what do u think !

well as far as my knowledge is concern, the numbers of approved applications are more than those who got denied..I cannot however give you a figurative number since I only rely on what I read, this are not official statement from CEM..just be patient and it will come out..

I know the feeling of waiting, it's really uneasy but we have no option but to wait..just do your usual things and you'll be fine waiting..
