Hi to all of you
one genuine important point that i want to mention here.Canada is not a country that you find job on your own.the secret of a good life in canada is to be united, work together, be kind to each other as immigrants.each person could connect to another one and build a source of support.unless you have hundreds of thousands of dollar ,your chances of getting jobs is slim if you want to ignore others and make no friend and network.be kind to others and give ,then you will receive as well.it is what goes around, comes around.do you see what is going on in US? it may and just may tells something about racial issues .all i am saying is that the power of immigrants is to understand each other.culture of canada is very different than countries we are coming from.it is better to leave behind all we learned about finding jobs .this is very complex society and in lots of cities are very diverse.most of our countries are very homogeneous in terms of race

Networking is very important to get a foot in the door. Sadly, to get a job, who you know matters a lot.

true but over all living in canada means to make a sense of belonging.it is even harder to make this one.since people are coming from different culture, the y are now in new land ,new people .living in our country of origin ,we already have the sense of belonging.the people seems very close to us.even if you do not have good quality of life but because you born there,it means you have a good sense of belonging .i cannot emphasize it anymore.making good friends is extremely important .it is not just about the job.it makes you settle .it is on average for immigrants takes 5 years (on average) to settle, could be less or more .but enduring all difficulty while feeling society is not hostile to you is very important .and there is no way else other than finding good friends .without helping each other chances are very slim that you feel you belong to the country.for sure people who born here (regardless of their race) already have this sense. i see some people here that are unaware that they are in new culture.mostly ,they think they could live selfishly without needing others .they get and they do not give .even a little thing that we give matters.we live in society that has a dominant race and we want it or not that is the reality .dual citizens are not as same as canadian born .and that is their advantage and immigrants' disadvantage .how could immigrants overcome this?by giving and being kind to each other, instead of being apathetic.in our countries many things happen that are not desirable to us .here we cannot bring them over .we should show we care for each other ,other than that there is no other net of emotional and mental support which is source of energy for all obstacles happened to be structured in the society.
