Does anyone have experience with CRNE, my registration will expire in Late November with Alberta would like to sit it in October so any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

I have also registered with CARNA and mine expires in August........I don't think my VISA is going to be ready

by then so I will have to re-register.

You cannot take the EXAM until you have been working for 6 months.......your nursing job will put you forward for it.

You cannot arrange it yourself.....thats my understanding.

Hello house, after checking cic site, yesterday, i saw that the CAP for RN is already full while that of LPN is at 281 applicants, am just wondering if RN who intends to work as RN in CANADA can apply under LPN for the purpose of Migrating as a Permanent Resident ( fsw Option). Pls i need your responses.thanking you all in anticipation

@ Morning you can take the CRNE without having employment in canada, all you need is a temporary visa and payment of the exam ahead of the scheduled deadline

If you go back to page 5 or 6 you can see what extra documents CNO requested.

I started my process in Nov 2010 - request for assessment package whcih I completed and mail to CNO, it was received by CNO Dec 2010. I then had a reply in Feb 2011 requesting further documents and BET. I collected and sent all the document they requested in March 2011.
I e-mail my BET May 2011, delayed due to work and family issues.

I received an e-mail a week ago stating my assessment package was complete and it would be reveiwed by the CNO assessor.
I asked how long the process would take, they said they could not provide me with a time line due to the number of files they are processing.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I was also told that they can’t give a time line after receiving the docs so I guess it is the wait- game = Building patience in everyone .
