Good Evenin! I have a few more questions.

Should I provide IMM 0008 form that was outdated aswell as the NBI clearance? They did not request it, but I'm just wondering if I should.

1. IMM 0008: my hubby's form was outdated. I submitted a September form last January not knowing that they updated it in November.
2. My hubby's NBI clearance was submitted after 3 months an 11 days. Accding to CIC, the NBI clearance should be sent within 3 months.

We received SA on April 13th, including notification of the file staying in Mississauga. I'm hoping our case is as fast as yours!

Hi everyone! i am a newbie here and i have been searching for the closest thread i can find regarding my situation: I really need an expert's advice:

My husband is a current PR. We got married last Nov 2014 after being in a relationship for 6 yrs.(2 yrs before he left for Canada and 4 yrs on a LDR). As of now, we have been collating all documents and so far so good. The only dilemma we have is I have a daughter turning 11 this august (following her biological dad's surname) which my husband will also sponsor. Her biological dad and I separated when she was 3 yrs old (we were never married/lived in)the dad stopped providing financial support and we didn't maintain communication anymore since then. As per checklist, we need to fill out form 5604 (declaration of non accompanying parent). Because of that I tried to get in touch with her biological dad (after 7 yrs of totally no communication) if he can at least do this one last thing for her daughter. Lo and behold! he signed the form. (thank God!)

Now my question is: on the checklist bullet number 9 Children's information. I need to know what document I still need to secure. What kind of document do i need to prove I have sole custody of my child? the father had nothing to do with us for 7 yrs. Do I need to go thru court process even if I am not previously married w/ her bio dad?

I'm assuming you are a Filipina since you posted the same question on the Manila VO Thread. It will be a great help if you can provide them with your CENOMAR - Certificate of No Marriage or If you are unable to request this before your wedding you can just request for an AOM - Advisory of Marriage for both parties. To prove that you have been only married to your current husband and never with the biological father of your child. Provide them with the birth certificate of your child and a letter of affidavit from an Atty. that there is no marriage that took place or never did you cohabited in one house (just in case) with the Biological father to make your application more stronger. You can also include in the affidavit that you have been in full custody of your child from year to present. Any affidavit is a legal document and providing the embassy with legal documents can make your application more stronger.

Guys, I would like to request again. I was accessing the 2015 Outland Spousal Application file through Google Drive application on my phone. I moved it to my drive accidentally.

Could someone please help me with movement of that shared file off my drive to the place where it earlier belonged to.

My VO has still not received my application from Mississauga, I was approved one month ago. I don't mean they haven't started processing it but that they have not physically received the package yet. Does anyone know how long it takes Mississauaga to post applications to the outland VO, there must be a system for this also, maybe they post them in batches according to the country?

My VO has still not received my application from Mississauga, I was approved one month ago. I don't mean they haven't started processing it but that they have not physically received the package yet. Does anyone know how long it takes Mississauaga to post applications to the outland VO, there must be a system for this also, maybe they post them in batches according to the country?

I was approved as Sponsor on March 24, 2015. While requesting an email replacement for the SA letter that they mailed to Mexico I asked if they could provide me with the date that our file was transferred to the Mexico City VO. I was told 04/20/2015! So, in our case it took a month before the file left Mississauga. I presume they were accumulating a sufficient quantity to send down to MCVO. I could be still 2 months from that date that i receive AOR2. :'(

Hey everyone,

My wife recieved an email after a 'decision made' couple weeks ago. They are requesting us to scan and email her bio data page of her passport, appendix a and two photographs of herself. Is it acceptable to scan the two photographs and email them or do they need the originals? She is from a visa-exempt country btw

Just removed it on your drive if you want to get rid of it. The file is a public spreadsheet anyone can add it on their respective drive for easier access but that doesn't mean you took it all out from the original only the owner can do such changes if i'm not mistaken. Thankyou for that information, I also think that they must have a system and maybe wait to send them in batches rather than one at a time. I will keep waiting

How do you know this, did your SA letter not say they are transferring the file to the VO?

I contacted the outland visa office directly who said that they have not yet received the package from Mississauga. So although we receive SA and the file transfer info. I don't think they physically post it that day, another person had to wait 1 month for them to post it.

Hello everyone!
Long time without check the forum!
I have some questions: My passport it's gonna expire on February 2016 and taking as a reference the average of my visa office, they would request my passport around December-February. I don't know if the would accept a passport with less of 6 months of validity...

Sounds like something easy to solve (just renewing my passport, right?) But my marvelous and efficient Venezuelan consulate (of course, I'm being ironic ) takes around 1 month to give the appointment to renovate ( I have to travel from Calgary to Vancouver for that) and after that takes around to 3 to 6 months to get the new passport. I can not renew my document right now because I'm gonna travel in 20 days.

Is so frustrating that my consulate is so inefficient and at the end that affects me as citizen. I hope that CIC don't request my passport while I'm going thru all of this process. So annoying...
