Can someone simply tell me if I need written work references from part time unrelated jobs I had in Canada or is it just the related skilled work I have had from my home country in the UK? Or is it everything. Some part time unrelated jobs i worked for a day for example which is quite tedious to go contacting employers for all of the relevant info.

I Have three years of experience in Banking as Branch Manager. Just now applied for WES, so I can only file application after one or two months. Don't know whether CAP will be closed soon this year. Heard that Banking is in great demand for this year immigration process. What are the chances for me getting the PR this year. Till what month we can safely file our application and what is the Processing time for getting PR.

Guys A quick Query....

I am going to apply for FSW 2014 program. But I have todo lot of work The most critical and time consuming are
1 - Degree - Not yet received for institute. it will take 2 month and after that WES in total 5-6 months required.
2 - IELTS - Not yet registered. But during degree evaluation I will do that.
3 - Lot of other stuff but will be completed during degree evaluation.

I am looking for NOC#2232. What you think after 5 or 6 months this CAP thing still remain vacant......?

I am really very worried. Should any one able to tell me that how quickly last year NOC for mechanical person was filled...?

Hi DesireCA , I am an applicant from 2013 fsw program , and i tell u that you stay confident about applying and apply for the fsw , last year the
subcategory limit was 300 , and it took a good time to fill hottest NOCs , to be honest mechanical eng NOC is not as hot as u may preceive .
this year limit for subcats is 1000, ;). Give it a go ......good luck

You might need to request with your school's registrar to send your credentials for wes validation purposes. You might want to check this link to identify the requirements needed based on your country of education.Hope this helps.

I suggest that you should consider Immigration lawyers rather than consultants, since immigration lawyers know the business well rather than the consultants. This is just my opinion anyway, the costs varies from 2750-3450 cad.

I am a Mechanical Engineer by nature but currently working as Post Doc in a university. Now, what NOC code should I use for my Post Doc position? It is listed as Postdoc Fellow under 4011 but the major duties listed over there does not fit my daily work. Instead, 4012 has the correct job description but it also states "Enrolment in a university or college program is required" as employment requirements - I obviously not enrolled in any academic programmes at point. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
