I'm glad to see that as well as our timelines are almost exactly the same. Our applications were sent within a day of one another. They started processing my application 3 days after yours and ours CSQ's were almost identical as well. As long as everything goes ok, mine should be soon too.

I will let you know. Yeah I did my medical at the start, I know it is on the system as when I phone the CIC they can see it.

When did they request for your police certificate? I sent that at the beginning also, they haven't requested anything yet.

Well the medicals were the only thing I didnt sent with my application. I sent 3 police checks from different Counties but I didn't know that I needed 2 different ones from Mexico (One is Federal and the other one from my city) I sent the federal and they just asked me for the one from my city, got the email for that and for my medicals on February 8th... Did my medicals on February 11th called last week CIC to see if they got my CSQ but they said no and well medicals I guess I have to wait a few more days or weeks for them to get it.

Ahh ok so not so straight forward with the police checks. They must have your CSQ now to be able to issue the AIP. The call centre said to me, if anything was needed, they would have requested it by now. I have now lived in Canada for a year, I was wondering if they would ask for a Canadian police check. When I sent the application, it was less than a year.

HI, i see people wondering about how long it takes for them to send you the AIP after they get the CSQ. in our case we had an interview at cic montreal, we went to the interview without the CSQ, the interview was really nice, better than i expected and the agent told us everything was ok and exactly the same day hours after our interview, our agent called us and told us that after our interview she got the CSQ from MICC and that she sent us the AIP by mail. we got the letter like 3 days after and it says that our permanent residence was approved and it also says that now they will just check about medical exams, criminal record, passport and right of permanent residence fee (an autorization payment form came with the letter). as i already sent all that requirements except for the RPRF, i sent the payment by mail the next day. it has been like 1 week that i sent it. i hope everything will be ok. anyone knows whats next?

also i went to apply for my health care (carte maladie) and i got approved and i will receive it may 1 since i have to wait 90 days after your permanent residence approved. thanks

We called CIC and they said they received our CSQ, but they are not processing yet our files
CSQ was issued the 6th feb and we got it the feb 11th, still waiting the AIP
app rec, Sep 05th AOR-Nov 28th

hi, i think the final final decision will be made when they certified that they have all the last documents they told me in the letter, like the criminal record, medical exams, passport and RPRF. since the RPRF was the only document in the list missing and i sent it 1 week ago i think the next step its just to wait until they send me a letter telling me that my permanent resident is approved and i need to go to pick it to cic montreal in around 10 days. its what one of my friends told me. i hope it will be like that haha. has anyone received the PR in a different way? thanks

Still no sign of my CSQ here , I called last Friday, the agent told me still waiting for revenue and social security office's reply, and about when I could expect it, he said maybe next week, or the week after. But I notice even people submit the undertaking after me already got it. Get me confuse again. Is this the right number I call? 514 864-9191, are you using this number?

We received our AIP today, which means that tomorrow we will go to the RAMQ office to apply for my husband's sunshine card. 8)
