i would say no too.

if for some reason your application has a chance of getting selected let it happen. don't put a spot light on it by inquiring about it.

you are losing nothing by waiting be patient however hard it maybe. we all new that the process is possibly 12 months long so don't rush may friend.

i think some of us made a mistake by sending emails and unessesarily getting our applications into the spotlight and highlighted for rejection.

don't look forward to receving your docs back. it is a very sad feeling when the pack arrives. my advice; be patient, if they have returned it it will reach you. by worrying you are not going to increase the speed of delivery. don't rush to receive bad news.

My application sent to CIO on 22nd august and the site was updated that the cap for 1122 has been reached. No response from CIO as of now. how/when my documents & DD got returned.

My documents were returned on 26 September, 2011 i would like to ask that how long will it take to reach documents in Pakistan.

I say no. Wait for at least 90 days. It took me about 90 days to get a reply. Anyway its your choice.

actually i waited for 1 day but no 1 replied to my quote ,so i send inquire to cio,did u got any +ve reply from cio coz i got following reply

my consultant sent my packages dated July 5, 2011 thru DHL courier. i dont know when it reached the CIO nova scotia. according to DHL courier most probably it reached on the on the 9th of July. My question is..do i have the chance to fill in the quota? based on the updates from different bloggers in here?

Nobody could tell you the answer, you have to wait for cic e-mail which should be very soon, or you could send them an e-mail asking about the status of your application mentioning your full name & date of birth..

Hello friends,

I have been watching this thred quietly from time to time and I've seen all kind of speculations on when the quota for 1122 noc was reached.
I would like to announce the followings:

1) My file have reached CIO on 03 August 2011, signed by G Miller.
2) My Noc application is 1122,
3) IELTS Band score 7
4) VO is Bucharest
5)On 06 October I had my CC( Credit card Charged by CIO-FSW-Immigration Canada) the day was thursday.
On sunday evening(09 October) I've wrote to CIO an e-mail asking about my application status. In returned I had received the same automated message posted earlier but on next day "monday noon".
So far no other reply from CIC in regards of my application staus, but for sure the cap reach is not 08 July ,nor 03 August since my credit card was debited with 1244,82 USD ( family with one child) 1250 CAN =1244,82 since my VISA is in USD.

To be honest, I believe that anybody can be in the game, as long as thier application reached CIO before 22 August.
I prey GOD to help us all and to reach our Immigration goal this year!!!!

i am looking at all possible options. i am looking at appealing to CIO as i feel they have been unfair in the manner they processed applications (processing even after so called cap closure)

i am exploring PNP programs,
i am applying for jobs in CA
i am locatng old friends and checking if they can help etc etc...

but that's what i don't understand about CIO. my application was received on 12th July and my pack was sent back with an official letter stating that the cap was reached.

no speculation there, just hard evidence.
