Atleast for me, it took 8 months to receive an acknowledge receipt. Not to mention the severe delays in the processing. I applied in Nov 2008, and still have not heard anything from anyone ! I guess its just plain bad luck !

Nopes, not on welfare. But still unemployed. I thought it clearly mentions on the site that I should have some sort of income to support him. If there is a way to sponsor him without being employed, could you guide me to that information?? Much thanks
