AOR received today after 5PM PST.

I don't know as I was the one as a landed immigrant. May be check if the paper that you have mentions about your family members count or names!

Generally they used to staple Landed immigrant paper inside the passport back then. so check in the passport. It should have his name, sign, information about arrival date etc. and his signatures too ..

All the files and related documents are normally scanned and no they don't have to take out a file from the q or shelf. Now a days most of the embassies use computer's to check the progress. Thanks Jasvarun. Probably they have transferred ur file to India cuz u are Indian citizen. Canadian consulate in India work very fast so keep ur finger crossed, I am hoping that u'll hear from them pretty soon.

Thanks Gally.. Sorry for the late reply. I received the letter by post. Status on the ECAS has not changed. The letter I received was similar to one canadayogini received. Yea u'll receive it probably this week or next week. International can take 7 business days.
