So, they finally implemented the new tie-breaker system. If today's draw was considering the new quota, 2,000 ITAs is too low. So I think we have two possible scenarios: 1) They're still preparing for the new quota 2) They might be doing weekly draws from now on. Let's see how thing go.

The update explicitly said that they're still valid for six months, or until December 31. Whichever comes first.

No, I don't. But reading the update, they seem to imply that the NOIs could be resumed again. Also, it seems that they'll implement a new system for 2018, as all the NOIs will expire. This is just a guess.

I don't believe that the HCP stream will reopen this year. But the good news is that is just a couple more months for a new target so it'll be easier

OINP just updated. They re-opened the Master and PHD streams. The HCP is still on hold :'(

Yes. If they reopen, your best bet is to re-create your profile.

I won't lie, I was expecting the score to rise with the 2,800 ITAs per draw, but I had the hope that it wouldn't happen. I expect the score to drop in the coming months with the 2018 quota, but this draw and the lack of news about the OINP is discouraging for me. But let's see what the next...

I agree with you. I'm 417 and I expect the CRS to drop to this score. Maybe not this year, but probably at the beginning of 2018. In my case, I'm preparing everything for OINP as my plan B. At worst it should be open by the first quarter of 2018. But I'm not stopping there, I'm studying French...
