I am a Canadian citizen as well and expecting our first child in August. I have applied for a visitor visa for my spouse on March 23rd and Biometrics done on Apr 10th. Still waiting for a response. Can you suggest me what strings can I pull on my end? Thank you!

how did you get a hold of CIC by calling to ask the tracking number of the discpatched passport?? I have been calling them and the message says that we are experiencing high volume of calls and cant transfer to an agnent. This is not helpful!

Does the tracking ID say that it has been dispatched from CPC-Ottawa?

I dont have the tracking id. You said yours got updated on Nov 03rd, did you get back the passport? Are you also located in Ottawa?

I did not send self addressed because the passport request email said not to write your own address on the envelop sent along with passport

Hey Makeit, I came across your comment here, and my timelines are the same as yours. I rerceived AOR on May 25th and them medical passed Aug 03rd. And since then, there has been no further update. Did you receive any updates since then? Thank you!
