The only thing I would add is that it isn't a Canadian company that does the assessments. It's an American company in Philadelphia, and they employ non-nurses to assess whether your nursing education is equivalent to Canadian nursing education. Ridiculous but 100% true.

I would check with academic institutions on that. It is VERY unlikely that you will get accepted into a Masters of Nursing degree program without an undergraduate in some sort of health science at the very least. And especially without nursing experience. A Master's degree in Nursing does not...

Not a brief write up on each subject. Most people's curriculums are more than 100 pages of information on the courses taken. Complete course syllabi etc. Brief will get you 'non comparable' for sure.

Don't apply now. NNAS reviews your education only, and ADN is not a 4 year nursing degree and it will get you nowhere near comparability to a BScN in Canada. So you'll be wasting time and money applying for an assessment of your education while knowing what the outcome will be...

If you are not currently a RN, you cannot work in Canada as a RN without completing the 4 year BScN and passing the licensing exam.

If you and your friend have studied the exact same nursing program and you got non comparable and your friend got comparable, I would argue to NNAS that their assessment system is very flawed.

Did your classmate get 'comparable' as a result of their nursing work experience? And do you have the same nursing work experience as your classmate?
