I finished masters in USA and working currently on H1B. I applied for canada student visa on Mar 18 and received my visa on Apr17th. Got my passport stamped on Apr24th. So total time it took for my visa is 5 weeks. Hope this is helpful

Nope you dont submit passport with online application. In online application we upload passport copy by scanning all pages. and other requested documents. Once they take a decision they will ask for your passport submission. it took 1 month exactly and i got a passport request and i sent it to...

i applied online on mar17th. Got response requesting for my passport on APR18th. Passport received by VAC on 21th APR and got a tracking number. Waiting for my passport currently. Hoping i will have it in a week.
