Hi all, i am waiting my PR card for over a month, is this normal? And after i get my SIN, PR, OHIP cards, is there any other things i should get or know as a permanent resident? Thank you! ;D

Hi CrazyLucy, actually after the landing interview, the officer sent me to another booth for SIN number. And i was asked to present my parents name in back home at the booth, so i thought i already applied for my SIN number there.

I don't know if i misunderstood but the cic officer told me that i will receive my SIN number within 3 weeks. He didn't mention that i have to apply for it, so i was kind of confuesed. Thank you scylla! :D

After landing interview(Inland), i don't have to apply for my PR card and SIN number, right? I was told that they will automatically send it to me in 8 weeks, but i just want to make it sure. Thank you all! ;D

I got a letter for my interview from the local immigration office. It's in Feb. 2012 which will be 5 months after from my second stage was approved. I am wondering if this is normal. I got a letter from Immgration Canada and was required to have my medical exam and fingerprints done and i've done both about two weeks ago. RCMP must have sent the result(I choose electronic submission) directly to Alberta office and Medical result should be sent there by the end of this month...
