Landing B4 list - print size

My uncle and family was returning from abroad and was asked by the CBSA officer to show that the jewelry (including wedding bands) they had with them was previously owned by them. They were able to show jewelry on the B4 they had turned in years ago. So I agree with OhCanadiana in that...

Notifying CIC of a change in residence

I think Ohcanadiana's trying explain to you what CIC is asking in each question. "Period of relationship" refers to the entire time that you have known your spouse and vice versa...not just since the application date. The objective is to understand the genuineness of your relationship.

can anybody on a visiter record from usa apply for canadian driver license

Hi, Goodman36. The link you cited is the general MTO site for driver's license. As far as I know, you definitely can get a driver's license in Ontario (and in some cases it may make sense to do it), but there is no requirement to do it. As the ongoing conversation between OhCanadiana and...

    sponsorship of common law partner

Just a clarification, the sponsor does NOT have to move outside of Canada in order for you to apply Outland. As a potential alternative to common law partner application, have you considered trying to apply for a job under either the provincial nomination programs or applying for jobs in high...

    Entering Canada

There are specific reporting requirements for jewelry (include photo of each piece) and for electronics (list each item with serial number). The link in Ohcanadiana's post above to the b4 help thread gives lots of details about what needs to be done. I believe the intent is to give us the...

In Canada landing without an Immigration Visa stamp on passport?

Hi, Hunterh. I took my in-laws to Service Canada at the beginning of the year to get their SIN's. They provided their passports and COPR's and got their SIN's, no muss no fuss. Took less than 5 minutes. I don't see any reason to wait and lots of reasons not to. You need it to apply for...

What is the most difficult part in IELTS test?

I helped a friend prepare and listening was once of the toughest ones. Practice is the only thing that helps. If you can get the Cambridge IELTS books and CD's those are very useful. For writing, we would do simulated tests but make the writing time 10-15 minutes shorter to improve speed...

    Best site for IELTS preparation

I agree that the Cambridge IELTS books are the best! The later ones are more useful. I helped someone prepare for it, and it is helpful to simulate the test conditions as completely as possible.
