Hello. I recently landed as a PR last December, and started working in Canada February of this year. While waiting for my PR I lived and worked in the States until I moved. In terms of filing taxes, Do I need to file taxation for the US for 2015, and nothing for Canada until next year? Thank you.

Thanks for the info. I had thought the issue was what my name was on. If there's no problem and it won't affect my fiance, we'll just go ahead with our plan to have joint accounts.
