Thanks Sept15. There were 146 new citizens from 34 countries. My advice for people with children. Please leave them at home. As much as we love kids it was a bit disruptive when the speeches are going on.

Got the letter in the mail this morning for August 6th - TCU place @ 2:30 so it wasn't an error (as my thoughts might be since its not listed on the http://www.cic.gc.ca/citcer/search-recherche-eng.aspx) It now makes me wonder how they process applications because it doesn't seem like it is...

    Decision Made after Test?

Does it always change to "decision made" prior to receiving your oath letter in the mail? How long of a notice do they give you for oath ceremony? I ask because I am from Saskatchewan and a few tests are happening in Saskatoon and Regina. Would they send me to Regina for oath even if my...

I was wondering the same thing. Is there an official government site that we can look up the actual statistics for people in process of getting their citizenship from application to oath and how many people attend oath ceremonies in each province? There are members that set up similar sites...

    March/April/May 2014 Saskatoon/Regina applicants

May and June testers probably did not get oath invite for upcoming oath ceremonies at the end of June and July 1st. Don't they have to give you something like 2 weeks notice?

Thanks for the heads up on the 4 ceremonies Sept15. I took the test on June 9th and passed. The officer said 2 - 3 months for oath, but hoping with the increase in ceremonies I will get an invite for one of these.

    March/April/May 2014 Saskatoon/Regina applicants

Wrote the exam today and passed 20/20. Would definitely suggest http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/index.cfm?province=SK as a good way to test yourself once you read the Discover Canada booklet. Was told I would be 2 - 3 months for oath.
