yeah it's almost a year now since they requested for passport. one of the MP's phoned them and they told me that the background is still on the pending review.... woah! i don't know if whats going on... maybe because of my husband is a policeman back home? i don't know what to think anymore...

i dont know if it still normal on the processing times, it's been 16 months now to be exact.. it supposed to be 14 months according to the site that i read, but our papers are almost over due.. the papers was filed in Manitoba.

where can i asked for help for my 16 months application? like MP's? please anyone?

i asked for help and they said the background has not been checked.

thanks for the response guys, but still i don't know where to asked for help aside from here. they told me if im going to email the embassy manila, our application will gonna be on the last end again... we're still praying hopefully we received any good news from them. thanks taffy.
